In this post, I am going to show you how to build email list from scratch. There are many reasons to have an email list. People will get to know you so they may be more likely to buy from you. Sometimes it will take someone several times of seeing something before they decide to buy it. If people don’t buy from you right away they may buy something from you later if they are on your list.

It isn’t hard to build a list and you can start for free. once your list is big enough and you are making money, you may want to start investing in growing it bigger. The bigger the list, the more money you can make.

Step 1: Select Your Autoresponder

An autoresponder is a program that you will use to gather email addresses and send out automated emails to them.

Picking a good autoresponder is essential because you want to ensure your automated emails will be delivered.

Step 2: Create A Campaign In Your Autoresponder

I highly suggest watching the tutorials in the member’s area of whichever autoresponder you have chosen. There are some autoresponders that will start you off with a default campaign.

STEP 3: Add Emails To Your Autoresponder

Adding emails to your autoresponder is something you will want to do on a daily or at least weekly basis. You will want to start out with at least 7.

The first email should be your welcoming email, welcoming them to your list. Tell them what to expect from you and how you intend to help them.

STEP 4: Set Up A Capture Page

STEP 5: Send Traffic To Your Capture Page

There are two things you should be doing daily to keep up your email list. Adding emails and getting traffic to your capture page.

I will be going over how to get website traffic for free in my next post, however here I just want to give you some ideas to get you started.

One of the best places to learn content marketing is MOS. Content marketing is forum posting, blogging, writing articles for article directories, and creating youtube videos. You can learn how to do this here.

Another way to get traffic to your website is with Solo Ads. Solo Ads are ads sent out on your behalf by another list owner in exchange for an agreed-upon payment. This can get pretty costly though and you want to make sure you are getting a good deal.

Sharing your site on Social Media platforms is another way to get traffic to sites.

If you don’t feel comfortable sharing on your own social media platforms you can get others to share it by using a program like Link Collider.
